McLaren Hart

Question: What does it mean to McLaren Hart to be involved in this project with the Ames Lab?

"Well, it's really exciting because the McLaren Hart mobile laboratory's been around for a couple of years and we've never been able to get a job with as high amount of visibility as this job has. Basically what we're able to do now is get recognition from the regulators, and from a major body such as the DOE, [for work we're doing that's consistent with the ESC approach]. They finally have gotten in tune with the accelerated investigation approach to characterizing hazardous sites and so it's very exciting for us."

Question: And, what about the idea of comparing technology?

"Well, that's... actually that's even more exciting than any of it because... it's going to help us refine our own product. We want to know what's the quickest way to turn around quality data. And that's basically what we're getting..."
