EXPERIENCE
RESEARCH PROGRAM
Since October 1, 1992, my responsibilities have changed from those that were centered on scientific research into the materials properties at interfaces using scanning Auger spectroscopy. My duties now focus on the Environmental Technology Development Program. This program has several groups, including a Technology Integation Program headed by Tom Noble, my immediate supervisor.
Since July, 1993, I have been lead principal investigator for Ames Laboratiory Expedited Site Characterization (ESC) Project. Purpose of this project is to use ESC methodology, particularly its speed, to field emerging characterization/monitoring/sensor technologies, along side of state-of-the-practice technologies, and evaluate their readiness for adoption by DOE. In addition, this project will promote those successful technologies by utilizing the ISU Center for Advanced Technology's technology transfer methodology.
This project is funded by DOE/EM within the CMST-IP under TTP CH131005 for FY1994/1995. The headquarters program manager is Caroline Purdy. Our project started in July, 1993.
