- The Information Center for the Environment (ICE), housed within the Department of Environmental Science and Policy at the University of California, Davis, is a research laboratory that focuses on the brokerage of environmental information for better decision making in regards to resource management and policy formation.
- The Argus Clearinghouse offers subject-oriented Internet guides covering Biodiversity, Conservation, Earth Science, Ecology and Environment.

- Envirolink is
a project of The EnviroLink Network, a non-profit organization which has been
providing access to thousands of online environmental resources since 1991.
- CEDAR (The Central European Environmental Data Request Facility) is a service provided by the International Society for Environmental Protection.
- EcoNET serves organizations and individuals who are working for environmental

- The Cygnus Group, contains information on packaging and waste reduction, including the newsletter The ULS Report (ULS

Informed Decision Making (CIDM).
- Galaxy is a search guide to worldwide
information and services. The
information is organized by topic, and can be searched. Areas of specific interest
might include Community Environment or Environmental
Law.
- The University of California at Santa Cruz's
search engine can be used to search for resources within the UCSC site. Additional environmental

- The Consortium on Green Design and Manufacturing is
a multi-disciplinary research and educational partnership between academia,
industry and government to develop linkages between manufacturing and design
and their environmental effects and to integrate engineering information, management
practices and government policy-making.
- The CLCV Legislative Environmental Scorecard rates California House and Senate representatives according to their voting records on critical environmental issues for the past year. http://www.ecovote.org/scorecards/scorecard-top.html.
- The State Environmental
Resource Center (SERC) researches state environmental policies and assembles information and tools to help legislators make important decisions on key environmental issues.
